YouthMAX is designed for KIDS (ages 8-11) and TEENS (ages 12 and older). YouthMAX inspires and equips young people to value themselves and others, by developing and maintaining a positive self-image, showing compassion to others, persevering in the midst of adversity, and creating a daily routine of successful attitudes and behavior. The goal of this program is to equip and empower youth to develop their leadership skills through adding value to others.
YouthMAX is focused on four key topics: Stand Up & Be Counted (Stop Bullying), Learning to Fail Forward to Success, Developing a Positive Self-Image and Developing a Strong Personal Character.
Everybody likes to win! But we don’t learn from wins. Losing can make us better. Losing is a gift for improvement. In this workshop, we will present the 2 areas to win as a teenager, responsibility and teach-ability. We will discuss how to turn a loss into a lesson and how that takes the sting out of losing. The program will cover the 11 qualities needed to move forward from mistakes and learn to grow and succeed.
The Three Important Letters Y.O.U.
In this lesson, participants will learn about the importance of believing in themselves and how having positive self-esteem determines their success.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Will be gifts aren’t worth much until they are used. The attendees will learn the acronym Y.O.U. Y–You are important. O–Only you can be you. U–Understand who you are. Realizing and appreciating who we are, opens the door to opportunity and leads individuals to success. This lesson helps youth:
1) Identify Talents and Skills

3) Develop an Attitude of Gratitude
4) Be Positive

The 5 Steps to Success
In this lesson, the 5 important strategies for success are reviewed. These strategies, when used daily, lead to positive, successful experiences. The attendees will learn key points to help them maximize their abilities.
John Maxwell says, “You will never change your life, until you change something you do daily. The secret to your success is found in your daily routine.” The things that we do daily, the actions that we take daily, influence us and determine if and when we reach our goals. The 5 Steps of Success Are:
1. Visualize the Future

Failure is Important
In this lesson, participants will learn about the value of failure on the journey to success and the importance of getting backup.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Through the personal success stories of famous athletes, entrepreneurs, historical figures, educators, and authors, attendees will discuss and identify ways successful people overcome difficult and/or overwhelming odds. Participants will consider the impact of self-belief and self-doubt on success. They will also consider what challenges or barriers that they are allowing to keep them from achieving their goals.

The Kind Connection
Connecting to peers is more than just talking, texting, liking social media statuses, and responding to Snapchats. Connecting to peers is about showing compassion and kindness to people without expecting anything in return. The kind connection is about bringing the golden rule to life. In this lesson, participants will learn about the importance of adding value to others.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Kindness means showing compassion and care. Something that can be so simple, but we often forget to show it to each other. Kindness is not something that costs anything, yet it adds so much value to the person receiving it as well as the person giving it. Through this lesson, students will understand how to: 1. Lift up others. 2. Add value to others. 3. Each day, be kind to others.

In this lesson, participants will learn about the value of being their true selves and how choosing to live an authentic life will lead them to a life filled with success and purpose.
